Dry Needling
Dry needling is a skilled intervention that uses a filament needle to target myofascial trigger points. The needle is inserted into the skin and muscle to help in the management of neuromuscular pain and movement impairments.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups are placed on the skin to create an airtight suction. Within a few minutes the tissue will become red with increased blood flow to the area. Benefits of this deep tissue massage include decreased pain, improved blood flow, and relaxation.
Graston Technique
Graston technique uses a variety of instruments to provide a deeper massage to the soft tissue. By scraping the skin gently it can stimulate connective tissue remodeling, assist in the breakdown of scar tissue or fascial restrictions, and improve blood flow to the area.
